Jensina Davis, LCSW
I've always been fascinated by the ways people get stuck—not because they lack intelligence or insight, but because they become trapped in patterns that once helped them survive.
Growing up in Minnesota, I witnessed the impact mental health challenges can have on individuals and families. Those experiences sparked a desire to better understand human suffering and, ultimately, how people heal.
Today, I work with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, and the challenges of being human. My style is warm, thoughtful, and conversational, helping clients reconnect with themselves and create lives that feel more authentic and meaningful.
My Story & Philosophy
At the heart of my work is the belief that lasting change comes not from self-criticism, but from self-understanding. Many people arrive in therapy exhausted from years of striving, overthinking, or trying to force themselves to feel differently.
My perspective is shaped by both clinical training and personal experience. I know how powerful it can be to have someone walk alongside you through life's difficult seasons with compassion rather than judgment.
Together, we explore the patterns that shape your life, building greater self-awareness, resilience, and self-compassion along the way.
What to Expect
My approach is rooted in the belief that people make sense in context. Rather than asking what's wrong with you, we'll explore what you've experienced, how you've learned to adapt, and what might be possible as you move toward more value-driven action.
